The standards are Tent, Sleeping bag or blankets (remember it will be cold at night). Extras would be Hibachi, portable shower, playing cards or games, fishing gear, radio, hammock…etc. Clean toilets and showers will be available to all at a small cost. The RV Resort manages the facilities and convenient store. Most camping supplies can be purchased from Wal-Mart, Target or your local sporting goods store. There are local shops and markets not far from the campground if you will need additional supplies.
Q: What should I NOT bring?
A: Just like any good run campsite there are items that will not be allowed at the event. A: See the Location page
Q Do I need to purchase Mexican auto insurance?
A: Under Mexican law, motorists are required to have insurance, or “proof of financial responsibility”, in the event of an accident, even if you did not cause it. As a foreigner traveling in Mexico, the only way of demonstrating this financial responsibility is to have sufficient real currency to cover damages, or an insurance policy from a Mexican company. U.S. or any other non-Mexican insurance does not cover your liability for potential accidents, nor does it fulfill the basic requirement for insurance according to Mexican law.
Q: Where can I buy Mexican auto insurance?
A: We have partnered with Pro Alliance Insurance to provide our travelers with a policy that can be purchased online.
